Your first aid course for educational and care facilities for children
Children need special first aid – because they are not small adults.
The“First Aid for Children” course is an official training course for educational and childcare facilities and is ideal as basic or advanced training for employees in daycare centers or elementary school and is aimed specifically at educational staff in daycare centers (crèches, kindergartens, day nurseries) and elementary school as well as anyone who looks after children in a professional environment. The course teaches age-appropriate first aid measures for emergencies in children – practical, safe and in accordance with current DGUV regulations.
The training comprises 9 teaching units of 45 minutes each (7.5 hours in total) and is conducted by experienced instructors with a focus on the special requirements of emergencies involving infants, children and babies.

Free participation via the accident insurance companies
The course fee is usually covered by accident insurance companies (UK). All you need is a completed billing form, which is applied for in advance from your accident insurance provider and brought along to the training course. This means that your institution does not incur any course costs – and you also meet the requirements for statutory first aid training.
No previous knowledge necessary
No previous medical knowledge is required to take part in this course. All content is taught in a practical and easy-to-understand way – tailored to everyday pedagogical work with children. This will enable you to react quickly, calmly and competently in critical situations.
Course content for first aid for children
The focus is on emergencies in infants and children – from pseudocroup to febrile convulsions and injuries in the playground. You will learn how to act correctly and provide help quickly in emergency situations such as foreign bodies in the airways, asthma attacks, injuries, heat and cold damage or poisoning. We also provide you with important knowledge about accident prevention so that you can recognize risks for children and prevent accidents in a targeted manner.
More safety in everyday teaching
Unfortunately, accidents and medical incidents are also a reality in everyday education and childcare. With professional first aid training, you can create a safe environment for children and strengthen the confidence of parents, providers and staff.
After successful participation, all course participants receive recognized certificates of participation for their documents or for submission to institutions and authorities.
